Our Story

Built on 26 years on the tools

Edinburgh Bespoke Flooring has been trading for five years, but the experience behind it goes back a lot further. Greg has been laying floors for 26 years, and he built this business around one simple idea: the fitting matters as much as the flooring.

You can buy the best engineered oak in the country and still end up with a floor that lifts, gaps or looks wrong in the light. What separates a good floor from a great one is the person kneeling on it, the preparation underneath it, and whether anyone took the time to get the detail right at the thresholds and the edges.

That is the standard we hold every job to, whether it is a single room in a family home or a full commercial fit out.

We are a family run business. You will deal with the same people from the first consultation through to the day we lift the last tool off site.

What We Do

Domestic flooring

We transform homes across Edinburgh and the central belt, from single rooms through to whole house refits. Herringbone and parquet, solid hardwood, engineered wood, luxury vinyl tile and carpet, supplied and fitted by tradesmen who have been doing this for decades.

Commercial flooring

Our fitters are CSCS qualified with vast experience across offices, new builds, commercial renovations, wet floors, retail units and housing associations. We work to programme, we work clean, and we understand that on a commercial site the flooring is rarely the only trade in the building.

Design flooring

This is where we do our best work. If you have a look in mind, or you have seen something and you are not sure how to achieve it, we will help you design bespoke flooring around your style and your budget. We have access to a vast range of products and we will talk you through what actually works underfoot, not just what looks good in a brochure.

Our core patch is Edinburgh and the central belt of Scotland, and that is where the majority of our domestic work sits. For commercial contracts and larger projects, we fit UK wide.
